Efforts to create a clean environment while boosting the local economy continue to be intensified. One example is Wijaya Putra University (UWP), which has implemented an innovation by transforming Styrofoam waste into products with economic value.
This innovation was realized through a Community Service (PKM) program in Beton Village, Menganti District, Gresik Regency. The lecturers' involvement has delighted the Gresik community.
Held at UD Tiga Putra, the UWP teaching team provided integrated training to small business owners. This activity not only focused on processing Styrofoam waste using Appropriate Technology (TTG) machines but also equipped participants with various business-supporting skills.
