The UWP Psychology Program aims to produce psychology graduates who are competent in the field of psychology, independent, competitive, and capable of professional growth through innovative approaches grounded in Psychosociopreneur values.
As one of our flagship programs, we focus on developing students’ expertise in understanding and applying psychological concepts to solve various societal problems. By integrating psychological knowledge, social skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit, we are committed to producing graduates who not only possess a deep understanding of psychological theory but also have the ability to innovate and provide practical solutions to various challenges across different fields, both in the workplace and in social life.

Vision Mission of Psychology

VISION
To become a leading Psychology Program in the development of research-based psychosociopreneurship that produces graduates with moral integrity and ethical values by 2030

MISSION
  1. To conduct research-based education focused on mastering and developing psychosociopreneurship values to produce competent psychology graduates.
  2. Conducting research to generate knowledge and technology in the field of psychology and make positive contributions to society based on psychosociopreneurship.
  3. Conducting community service based on psychosociopreneurship to assist in resolving issues in the field of psychology.
  4. Establishing collaborations and/or strategic partnerships with various educational and/or non-educational institutions, including professional organizations at the national and international levels, as part of efforts to develop and apply science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
  5. Implementing good governance of the Psychology Study Program on an ongoing basis.

Graduation Learning Outcomes (GLO)

GLO-1

Possess a deep reverence for God Almighty, integrity, and love for the homeland; be able to work collaboratively while upholding the law, humanity, and diversity; and be environmentally conscious;

GLO-2

Committed to the principles of social entrepreneurship in creating innovative solutions for the public good.

GLO-3

Mastering the theoretical concepts of a specific field of knowledge and skills, both in general and in detail, to solve problems procedurally in accordance with the scope of their work; and being able to adapt to changing situations as they arise.

GLO-4

Be able to plan and manage, collaborate on personal and career development independently based on psychological theories relevant to their field of expertise, and build a relevant professional network.

GLO-5

Be able to understand and apply the principles of data literacy and technology to obtain and analyze information for the purpose of solving problems and advancing the field of psychology, while using technology responsibly in accordance with values, norms, academic ethics, and humanistic principles.

GLO-6

Be able to understand and apply the principles of interviewing, observation, and psychological testing; evaluate the validity of assessment methods and/or instruments in accordance with scientific and/or psychometric principles; and develop psychological measurement instruments based on the principles of classical and modern test theory.

PL01

Human Resources (HR) Professional

Capable of conducting psychological assessments and interventions in the fields of organizational psychology and human resources development, including skills in job analysis and evaluation, job design, recruitment, training and coaching, as well as other forms of consultation for organizational and human resources development.

PL02

  Psychological Counselor

Serves as a non-clinical counselor for individuals and groups, providing preventive, educational, and supportive services in home, school, industrial, and community settings in accordance with the Indonesian Code of Ethics for Psychology.

PL03

  Psychology Assistant 

Capable of performing activities instructed by a psychologist within their scope of competence regarding assessments and non-clinical interventions, in accordance with the Indonesian Code of Ethics for Psychology

PL04

Independent Entrepreneur

Possesses a critical, creative, visionary, caring, and resilient attitude and is capable of creating business opportunities in line with community needs in the fields of organizational, developmental, clinical, educational, social, and health psychology.
