About the Program

The Computer Science Program at Wijaya Putra University is an accredited program with a “Good” rating and is committed to producing graduates who are competent, adaptable, independent, and competitive in the field of digital technology. Program development is focused on strengthening an Outcome-Based Education (OBE)-based curriculum, improving the quality of student-centered learning through internships, and conducting education, research, and community service oriented toward research and social entrepreneurship. The academic development of the program focuses on key areas, particularly software development and data science, as an effort to strengthen the relevance of graduates to industry needs and technological advancements. This development direction aligns with the Wijaya Putra University Strategic Plan for 2025–2030, which reaffirms the university’s commitment to research-based sociopreneurship to support the enhancement of graduate quality—ensuring they are competent, independent, and competitive.

To become a high-quality Computer Science Program in the fields of software engineering, intelligent systems, and digital technology with a sociopreneurship and sustainability perspective by 2030.

Mission
  1. To provide high-quality education in Computer Science to produce competent, independent, adaptable, and competitive graduates.
  2. Conducting innovative and applied research in computer science to advance knowledge and digital technology that supports social entrepreneurship and sustainability.
  3. Engaging in community service through the application of computer science knowledge and technology focused on solving social problems, empowering communities, and improving well-being based on social entrepreneurship.
  4. Developing strategic cooperation and partnerships with industry, universities, government, schools, and other institutions at the local, national, and international levels to support the implementation of the three pillars of higher education.
  5. Implementing good, effective, accountable, and sustainable program management to support improvements in academic quality, research, and community service.
