About Master of Management

The Master of Management Program at Wijaya Putra University (MM UWP) is a Master’s-level (S2) educational program focused on developing managerial competencies, leadership skills, and research- and practice-based analytical abilities. This program is designed to address the challenges of globalization and the dynamics of the business world by emphasizing innovation, entrepreneurship, and data-driven strategic decision-making. Graduates are expected to become professional leaders in various sectors, including the private sector, government, and entrepreneurship.

The Master of Management program under the Graduate School of Wijaya Putra University received approval to open on December 15, 1998, based on Decision No. 439/DIKTI/Kep/1998 of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia, with a concentration in Financial Management.

On July 19, 1999, with the issuance of Decision of the Director General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia No. 338/DIKTI/Kep/1999, the concentrations of Human Resource Management and Marketing Management were added.

Currently, the Master of Management Program offers six concentrations, having added concentrations in Educational Management, Health Management, and Entrepreneurship.

Pursuant to Decision No. 778/DE/A.5/LAMEMBA-S/XII/2025 of the Association of Independent Accreditation Agencies for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting, dated December 18, 2025, the Master of Management Program has been awarded an accreditation rating of B.

Graduates of the Master of Management Program are expected to:

  1. Possess piety toward God Almighty, integrity, love for the homeland, and the ability to collaborate while upholding the law, humanity, diversity, and care for the environment
  2. Be able to develop knowledge, technology, and/or art in the field of management through research, resulting in innovative and proven works
  3. Committed to the principles of social entrepreneurship (sociopreneurship)   in   creating   innovative solutions   for the public good
  4. Able to apply management knowledge and concepts in business and organizational contexts, including situation analysis and strategy development to solve problems procedurally in accordance with the scope of their work, and able to adapt to changing situations
  5. Able to develop skills in the field of management, including   analytical skills, communication skills, and leadership skills
  6. Develops a professional and ethical attitude in the field of management, including a sense of responsibility and a cooperative attitude

CURRICULUM
The curriculum of the Master of Management program consists of 37 credit hours with a study period of 18 months (3 semesters). The curriculum is structured based on Outcome-Based Education (OBE), which integrates theory, practice, and research.
