About Faculty of Agriculture

Landscape Image

The Agribusiness Study Program at the Faculty of Agriculture, Wijaya Putra University, is committed to producing graduates who are outstanding, innovative, and competitive in the field of agribusiness based on entrepreneurship and community empowerment. Learning is conducted interactively through an Outcome-Based Education (OBE) approach using case studies, project-based learning, and experiential learning, integrated with off-campus learning programs such as industrial internships, research, community service, and student exchanges.

Additionally, academic activities are supported by partnerships with industry, government, and community stakeholders.
The program can be completed effectively in 4 years, with the support of faculty members who possess academic expertise and practical experience in agribusiness, agricultural economics, and community empowerment.
Graduates of the Agribusiness Program have a wide range of career opportunities, including as agribusiness managers, agricultural entrepreneurs, agricultural policy analysts, agribusiness consultants, agricultural extension officers, and agricultural development planners, whether in the private sector, the government, or as independent business owners.
