A student team participating in the Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program (PPKOK) has successfully passed the 2025 funding selection process from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) of the Republic of Indonesia.
The UWP PPK Ormawa team, led by Khilya Al Majida from the Agribusiness Study Program, outperformed hundreds of proposals from universities across Indonesia. Their program, titled "Development of Pakchoy Onion Cracker Center Entrepreneurial Villages Through Product Innovation and Digital Marketing at the Karangcangkring Gresik Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDESA)," is considered to have a strategic impact on the development of student organization capacity strengthening programs, including leadership, management, and activity innovation.
UWP Rector, Dr. Budi Endarto, M.Hum., expressed his high appreciation for this achievement. "This is proof that UWP students possess superior creativity and competence. We fully support this program so that it can provide tangible benefits for the advancement of student organizations on campus and in the community," he said.
As the supervising lecturer, Dwiyana Anela Kurniasari, S.P., M.Si., expressed her gratitude to the university for its full support of this process. "Hopefully, this achievement will be the beginning of greater contributions from UWP students to the advancement of Indonesian education," she emphasized.
The grant funds obtained will be used for a series of activities, including: leadership and organizational management training; student entrepreneurship development; innovation-based community service programs; and publication output.
The UWP PPKOK team is committed to implementing the program optimally and hopes to inspire other students.
