The Master of Public Administration (MAP) Study Program at Wijaya Putra University (UWP) achieved a significant milestone in academic quality assurance by conducting a Field Assessment (Visitasi) conducted by a Team of Assessors from the Independent Accreditation Institution for Social, Political, Administrative, and Communication (LAMSPAK). The three-day event, held from December 19-21, 2025, is a crucial stage in the accreditation process, evaluating the MAP's suitability, performance, and commitment to national higher education quality standards.

The visit by the LAMSPAK assessor team was received by UWP Rector, Dr. Budi Endarto, SH., M.Hum., along with UWP leadership, lecturers, and supporting staff. In his remarks, the Rector expressed his appreciation and UWP's full commitment to the accreditation process. "This field assessment is not merely a formality, but a moment for reflection and acceleration of continuous improvement. We believe that UWP's MAP has prepared itself optimally to demonstrate real performance in the Tri Dharma of Higher Education."

The Head of the LAMSPAK Assessor Team, Prof. Dr. Ali Rokhman, M.Sc., stated that the main objective of the field assessment was to verify and validate the previously submitted data and documents, while also assessing the actual conditions of education delivery in the field. "We wanted to directly observe the learning process, the quality of resources, facilities, and the impact of the UWP MAP Study Program on society and the workplace," he said.

Over three days, the assessor team, consisting of two experts in public administration and public policy, conducted a series of in-depth activities, including presentations and presentations by the Head of the MAP Study Program, observations of learning facilities, interviews with lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and graduate users, and document review.

The Director of the Postgraduate Program, Dr. Indra Prasetyo, MM., stated that preparations for this assessment had been intensive for months. "We're not just preparing the administration, but rather a process of introspection and continuous improvement in all aspects. Our curriculum has been adapted to current needs, supported by applicable research and lecturer service, and a strong network of collaborations with practitioners."

The accreditation process by LAMSPAK is expected to not only result in formal recognition in the form of a ranking, but also strengthen an internal culture of quality. The recommendations from the assessor team will serve as a strategic roadmap for the development of the UWP MAP Study Program to a more competitive level, both nationally and internationally.

"This accreditation is a tool to ensure that the educational process at MAP UWP is capable of producing graduates with the best competencies," concluded Dr. Indra Prasetyo, MM.

With the completion of this field assessment, MAP UWP now awaits the final decision from LAMSPAK, which will determine the study program's accreditation status and ranking.
