UWP Produces New Doctors, Contributes Ideas to East Java's Rice Farmers
The academic atmosphere at Wijaya Putra University (UWP) is increasingly vibrant. Dr. Ir. Faisol Humaidi, MP., a lecturer in the Faculty of Agriculture at UWP, has successfully earned a doctorate from the Agribusiness Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, UPN "Veteran" East Java. In his open examination held on Monday, March 9, 2026, Dr. Faisol earned a "Very Satisfactory" distinction for his dissertation entitled "Analysis of Agricultural Extension Worker Performance and Its Impact on Rice Farmer Behavior in East Java." His research findings demonstrate a significant correlation between extension worker competency and increased farmer capacity in managing their farms. This dissertation not only enriches the body of agribusiness knowledge but also offers policy recommendations for local governments to improve the effectiveness of extension programs.
