UWP Increases Server Capacity to Strengthen Online Lecture and Examination Processes
To prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, especially in Surabaya, Wijaya Putra University (UWP) in this case carries out online lectures and examinations so that lecture and examination activities do not have to be delayed. Online lectures by students and lecturers have been conducted since March 16, 2020 through UWP online learning applications which include Academic Information Systems, Online Learning Programs, and UWP Institutional Emails. Likewise, the implementation of the UTS (Mid Semester Examination) has also been carried out through Online starting on April 27, 2020 for one week using. UWP Academic Information System. In carrying out lectures and examinations carried out according to the schedule prepared by the Study Program so that lecturers and students can find out the schedule through the UWP Academic Information System that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. In preparing for online lectures and examinations, UWP has increased the performance of Server bandwidth infrastructure capacity up to 200 Mbps. The implementation of online lecture and examination activities is still monitored by the Study Program, Academic Administration Bureau, Financial Bureau and ICT Division so that UWP strives for online lecture and exam activities to run smoothly without obstacles for Lecturers and Students.
