UWP FEB Management Successfully Conducts Field Assessment by LAMEMBA
The Bachelor of Management Study Program (Prodi) in the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Wijaya Putra University (UWP) has completed a series of Field Assessment activities organized by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA) from September 10 to 13, 2025.
This field assessment activity is a crucial stage in the accreditation process, directly assessing the readiness and quality of educational provision in the Management Study Program at UWP FEB. This process aims to ensure that the study program meets all LAMEMBA Higher Education Accreditation Standards, which include aspects of Vision, Mission, Objectives and Strategy, Governance, Cooperation and Student Affairs, Human Resources, Curriculum, Learning, Academic Atmosphere, Information and Infrastructure, as well as Research, Community Service, and Outcomes.
The LAMEMBA assessor team present in person on the UWP campus consisted of:
Prof. Dr. Muhtosim Arief, SE., MM., CPM., (Assessor Team Leader from Bina Nusantara University)
Dr. Marieska Lupikawaty, SE., MM., (Assessor Team Member from Sriwijaya State Polytechnic)
Over three days, the assessor team conducted a series of in-depth verification and evaluation activities. The assessment agenda included an opening ceremony, presentations by university and study program leaders, a tour of campus facilities (laboratories, libraries, classrooms), interviews with stakeholders (lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and industry partners), and a review of physical documentation.
The Rector of Wijaya Putra University, Dr. Budi Endarto, SH., M.Hum., in his opening remarks expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the presence of the LAMEMBA assessor team.
"This field assessment is not solely for achieving accreditation, but rather serves as a momentum for reflection and continuous improvement for the Management Study Program at UWP's Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB). We are fully committed to providing high-quality education that is relevant to the needs of the global workforce," said Budi.
Meanwhile, the Dean of FEB UWP, Dr. Woro Utari, SE., MM., outlined various achievements, innovations, and recent developments made by the Faculty and Study Program. She emphasized the adaptive curriculum, student-centered learning activities, and various international collaborations with the educational sector.
"We have prepared very thoroughly for this field assessment. All the achievements we present are the result of the hard work of the entire academic community, the support of university leadership, and the active participation of our students, alumni, and industry partners," Woro explained.
Interviews with student and alumni representatives were lively. They shared positive experiences during their studies in the Management Study Program at UWP, particularly regarding their involvement in research projects, internships, and student activities that support soft skills development.
In the closing session, the Head of the LAMEMBA Assessor Team, Prof. Dr. Muhtosim Arief, SE., MM., CPM., expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and preparedness.
"We see a very strong commitment from all levels of Wijaya Putra University to continuously improve the quality of education. The data and documents prepared are very comprehensive, and more importantly, we observed a good alignment between the documents and actual conditions in the field through interviews with various parties," he said.
The final results of this accreditation process will be officially announced by LAMEMBA in the next few weeks. The entire academic community of the Faculty of Economics and Business of Wijaya Putra University hopes and prays that the Management Study Program will achieve optimal accreditation results.
