The Public Administration Study Program (Prodi) in the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Wijaya Putra University (UWP) is currently undergoing the accreditation process to ensure educational quality meets national standards. This important process is realized through a Field Assessment conducted by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Social, Political, Administration, and Communication (LAMSPAK).

The two-day assessment, held from February 12-13, 2026, featured two experienced assessors: Dr. Denok Kurniasih, M.Sc., and Dr. Pardi, M.AB. The assessment team was welcomed by the Rector, Vice Rectors, Deans of FISIP, LPPM, BPM, Bureaus, and Heads of Study Programs, along with all lecturers and educational staff within the Public Administration Study Program.

In his remarks, UWP Rector Dr. Budi Endarto, M.Hum., expressed his appreciation and high hopes for the implementation of this assessment. "We welcome the presence of Dr. Pardi and Dr. Denok Kurniasih. We hope that this assessment process will not be merely a formality, but also a momentum for continuous evaluation and improvement for the Public Administration Study Program. The assessors' input will be invaluable for our continued development," said the Rector.

During the assessment process, the assessor team conducted a series of activities to verify and validate the data submitted in the accreditation form. These activities included:
The assessor team held dialogues with faculty leaders, study program managers, lecturers, educational staff, students, alumni, and graduate users. These interviews aimed to gain in-depth information about the learning process, curriculum, and study program governance.
The assessors also conducted on-site visits to various academic support facilities, such as classrooms, libraries, public administration laboratories, and other facilities and infrastructure that support the teaching and learning process.
The team matched the data and supporting documents uploaded to the accreditation system with actual conditions on the ground, including examining the implementation of the internal quality assurance system.

Dr. Denok Kurniasih, M.Si., the head of the assessor team, explained in a statement that this field assessment is an integral part of the accreditation process. "We're not here to find fault, but rather to ensure the accuracy of the data and observe firsthand the academic ecosystem established in the UWP Public Administration Study Program. Hopefully, the results will provide an objective picture of the quality of this study program," she said.

Meanwhile, Dr. Pardi, M.AB., added that interactions with stakeholders, especially students and alumni, provided a comprehensive picture. "The enthusiasm and openness of the entire academic community greatly assisted us in carrying out this assessment," he added.

The Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of UWP, Dr. Supriyanto, M.Si., expressed his gratitude and optimism. "We have prepared ourselves as best as possible. Thank you to the entire team, lecturers, and students who have worked hard. Whatever the outcome, our commitment to continuously improving the quality of education in the Public Administration Study Program will never wane," he emphasized.

The results of this field assessment will later become one of the main components in determining the value and accreditation ranking of the Public Administration Study Program at Wijaya Putra University which will be officially issued by LAMSPAK.
