The UWP FISIP Student Executive Board (BEM) held a social service called "One Heart in Empathy, Real in Action," providing assistance to orphans and distributing takjil (breaking fast).
The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of Wijaya Putra University (UWP) held a community service activity titled "One Heart in Empathy, Real in Action" on Sunday afternoon (March 8, 2026) at the Wijaya Putra University campus.
The event was attended by the Dean of FISIP UWP, Dr. Supriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., the Chair of BEM FISIP FISIP Dista Yunas Tuwastika, as well as other BEM administrators and FISIP students.
During the event, students provided assistance to orphans and distributed takjil (breakfasts) to the community and road users in front of the Wijaya Putra University campus as a form of social responsibility during Ramadan.
The Dean of FISIP UWP, Dr. Supriyanto, S.Sos., M.Si., expressed his appreciation for the student initiative. He considered this social activity a tangible manifestation of the students' concern for the community and part of developing students' character, embracing empathy and social responsibility.
Meanwhile, Dista Yunas Tuwastika, Head of the Wijaya Putra University Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Student Executive Board (BEM FISIP), stated that this community service activity is expected to foster a spirit of sharing and strengthen ties between the campus and the surrounding community.
Through the "One Heart in Empathy, Real in Action" program, the BEM FISIP Wijaya Putra University hopes that this spirit of social awareness will continue to grow among students, enabling them to make positive contributions to society.
