The Importance of Implementing Online-Based Letters at UWP
Correspondence activities become official written communication media on activities within the institution as well as UWP. The HR & Secretariat Bureau in collaboration with the ICT Division is currently developing a development in the form of a Letter Management Information System application or what can be called an online-based SIMAS UWP. This online Mail Management Information System was created to avoid this happening; time of receipt of an uncertain letter, loss of letter, letter disposition process that requires a long time and complicated procedures, and difficulties in numbering and archiving letters. The purpose of using SIMAS UWP is to increase the speed of information delivery, make it easier for leaders and education personnel to track the flow of letters, facilitate leaders in providing dispositions, and store documents in digital form. The SIMAS UWP application is ultimately expected to support the integration of the Information System in the UWP Work Unit and the prevention of the spread of Covid-19.
