The Faculty of Agriculture of Wijaya Putra University and Wachid Hasyim 5 High School in Surabaya Sign a Collaboration Agreement on the Impactful Campus Program
In an effort to strengthen synergy and improve the quality of education and community service, the Faculty of Agriculture at Wijaya Putra University (FP UWP) and Wachid Hasyim 5 High School, Surabaya, today signed a cooperation agreement covering various strategic areas. The signing took on August 28, 2025 place at Wachid Hasyim 5 High School, Surabaya.
This collaboration focuses on implementing educational programs, research, community service, and developing impactful campus programs. Through this collaboration, both parties aim to improve student competency, advance agricultural and environmental-based research, and carry out community service activities that directly impact the surrounding community.
The Dean of FP UWP, Dr. Heri Susanto, SP., MM., stated that this collaboration is a strategic step in building an innovative and sustainable education ecosystem. "We hope that through this collaboration, the younger generation can gain practical experience and in-depth knowledge in the agricultural sector, and be able to contribute significantly to community development," he said.
Meanwhile, Yeti Sukasi, S.Pd., M.Pd., Principal of Wachid Hasyim 5 High School in Surabaya, welcomed this collaboration as a golden opportunity for students to broaden their horizons and hone their skills in agriculture and related sciences. "We believe this collaboration will open up more learning opportunities and contribute positively to our students' capacity development," he said.
