The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Wijaya Putra University (UWP) and the Institute for Research and Community Service of Semen Indonesia International University (UISI) held an important meeting on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The main focus of the meeting was to discuss preparations for the 12th National Conference on Community Service and Corporate Social Responsibility (PkM CSR), scheduled for October 2026.
The PKM-CSR program is an annual National Conference on Community Service and Corporate Social Responsibility (PKM-CSR) held in collaboration with several universities: Multimedia Nusantara University (UMN), Pelita Harapan University (UPH), Swiss German University (SGU), Sebelas Maret University (UNS), Pradipta University, Wijaya Putra University (UWP), Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM), Telkom University, and Santo Thomas Catholic University.

During the meeting, which took place on the UISI campus, both parties agreed on the division of strategic roles. UWP will act as host, while UISI will co-host, facilitating the event at their venue.

The Head of LPPM UWP, Prof. Dr. Nugroho Mardi W, M.Si., stated that this collaboration demonstrates an ongoing commitment to advancing community service and CSR activities at the national level.
"This 12th PkM CSR Conference is not just a routine event. We want to create a more impactful platform. With UISI as co-host, we are optimistic that the event in October 2026 will be the largest and most innovative," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of LPPM UISI, Dr. Eng. Fandi Angga Prasetya, M.Si., added that his institution is ready to fully support the event, both in terms of venue and academic contributions.
"We are proud to be trusted to co-host. We will prepare the UISI campus as the main location for presentation sessions and seminars. This synergy is expected to bridge academics, CSR practitioners, and stakeholders to share real solutions for the community," he said.

The meeting also discussed technical details, including the call for papers scheme, the PKM-CSR Award Program, and plans to involve industry partners and local governments. The National PkM CSR Conference, now in its 12th edition, regularly serves as a forum for lecturers, community service providers, students, and CSR activists to publish the results of their community service activities and corporate social responsibility programs. The entire series of events will be held in a hybrid format (both offline and online) to reach a wider audience.
With this early start in preparations, both LPPMs are optimistic that PkM CSR 2026 will be a milestone in new collaborations for community empowerment in Indonesia.
