Winning Essay Competition, Wijaya Putra University Gives Appreciation to High School Students
Wijaya Putra University (UWP) gave appreciation to the winners of the Wijaya Putra Law Essay Competition for High Schools throughout East Java held by the UWP Faculty of Law on Saturday, February 15, 2025. The appreciation was in the form of a discount on the entrance fee at UWP during the 2025/2026 UWP New Student Admissions (PMB).
The 1st place winner of the Wijaya Putra Law Essay Competition, Aulia Izza Nailur Rohim and Arini Djihan Pangestu from SMAN 12 Surabaya received an appreciation in the form of "Free Entrance Fee".
The 2nd place winner received an appreciation in the form of a 75% discount on the entrance fee which was given to Mirza Aristian Rahman and Putri Jingga Ayu Lestari from SMAN 1 Cerme.
Finally, the 3rd place winner received an appreciation in the form of a 50% discount on the entrance fee which was given to Ni Made Berliana Karunia Artha and Nikita Az-Zahra Vellia from SMA Trimurti.
The award was presented directly by the Head of the Student Affairs Unit, Mulus Sugiharto, S.Sos., M.Sc., at the UWP Benowo Campus along with the Wijaya Putra Law Essay Competition Final on (15/02).
UWP Chancellor, Dr. Budi Endarto, S.H., M.Hum., said that this appreciation shows UWP's commitment to the world of research and involvement in the development of human resources and the surrounding community, especially among high school students.
Moreover, the competition is one of the series of the 44th Wijaya Putra Dies Natalis which carries the theme "Sociopreneur Innovation Towards Wijaya Putra's Excellence and Dignity".
"I hope that every activity in the series of the 44th Wijaya Putra Dies Natalis involves external elements such as the community, high school students and so on. The goal is so that the existence of UWP as a Sociopreneur campus can be felt by the community." Budi said.
