Wijaya Putra's 44th Anniversary, This is the UWP Chancellor's Hope
Exactly on
February 27 2025, Wijaya Putra will turn 44 years old. As a form of gratitude,
Wijaya Putra University (UWP) held a thanksgiving for the 44th Wijaya Putra
Anniversary which was held at the UWP Dome, Benowo Campus.
The event was
attended by all structural officials of Wijaya Putra University, Wijaya Putra
Middle School-Vocational School as well as all representatives of Student
Organizations (Ormawa) and Student Executive Boards within the UWP environment.
Tasyakuran was
marked by cutting the tumpeng which was carried out by the Deputy Chancellor 3
for Student Affairs, Dr. Esa Wahyu Endarti, SH., M.Si.
UWP
Chancellor, Dr. Budi Endarto, S.H., M.Hum., in his speech expressed his
gratitude for the 44th Anniversary of Wijaya Putra. He appreciated the theme of
Wijaya Putra's 44th Anniversary, namely "Sociopreneur Innovation towards
Wijaya Putra Excellence and Dignity".
"The
theme of this Dies Natalis is very related to the vision launched by UWP,
namely to become a superior university in developing research-based
sociopreneurship by 2030," he said.
He hopes that
all UWP and downstream studies and research will be oriented towards social
change so that the existence of Wijaya Putra brings benefits to society.
The
thanksgiving event was also enlivened by a tumpeng competition which was
participated by all Ormawa throughout UWP as well as a Golden Voice competition
which was participated by UWP students.
Budi hopes
that the entire series of activities for the 44th Anniversary of Wijaya Putra
which will be held from last January to May can run smoothly and lively and
bring benefits to society in line with UWP's vision as a research-based
Sociopreneur University and UWP's tagline, namely Growth with Society.
