Wijaya Putra University Postgraduate Program Graduation 2025: A Historic Moment for 112 Graduates
Surabaya, April
19, 2025 - Wijaya Putra University (UWP) held a lively postgraduate program
graduation ceremony at the Dyandra Convention Center Surabaya. A total of 112
graduates successfully completed their education in various study programs,
including Master of Management, Master of Public Administration, and Master of
Law. This historic moment is not only an achievement for the graduates, but
also an inspiration for the entire UWP academic community.
Among the 112
graduates, there were four married couples who celebrated their achievements
together. This is a sign that togetherness in education is not only able to
strengthen relationships but also has a positive impact on the development of
each person's career.
Interestingly,
this graduation ceremony was dominated by medical graduates who chose to
continue their studies in the Master of Management program with a concentration
in health. This phenomenon shows the increasing attention of health
professionals to improve their managerial competence in the world of health.
The graduation
ceremony was also streamed live on the official UWPNews YouTube account,
providing an opportunity for family and friends of graduates who were unable to
physically attend to join in celebrating this precious moment.
UWP Chancellor,
Dr. Budi Endarto, SH., M.Hum, in his speech congratulated all graduates on
their achievements. "Today is real evidence of your hard work and
dedication to face the increasingly complex global challenges ahead along with
changes in all fields or what is known as the global megatrend, this is
increasingly felt due to the development of artificial intelligence. I am
confident that if we are consistent in developing research and innovation for
the benefit of society, then UWP will have unique characteristics to become a
Higher Education Institution oriented towards Sociopreneurial University,"
he said.
The
representative of the graduates, dr. Sandhy Fitriardi, Sp.S., MM., also
expressed his gratitude on behalf of all fellow graduates. "We thank all
UWP lecturers and staff who have contributed to our educational journey.
Hopefully the knowledge we gain can be useful for society and our
profession," he said.
With this
graduation, UWP shows its commitment to producing quality graduates who are
ready to compete in the era of global megatrends, as well as becoming a
Sociopreneurial University. Hopefully this achievement can be maintained and
even improved as a manifestation of the UWP Tagline, namely Growth With
Society. This means that the existence of UWP as an agent of change and
development based on science, technology, and innovation has contributed to the
development of society which is very much needed to face future global
