Wijaya Putra University Holds Health Check for Lecturers, Students, and Educational Staff in Collaboration with Benowo Surabaya Public Health Center

In order to improve the health and well-being of the academic community, Wijaya Putra University (UWP) collaborated with the Benowo Surabaya Public Health Center to organize a mass health check-up activity for lecturers, students, and administrative staff at UWP.

This event will be held from October 28-30, 2025, at the DOME FEB UWP Benowo Campus. This health check includes blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and other general health examinations. Additionally, participants also received education on healthy lifestyles and disease prevention.

The head of the Benowo Surabaya Public Health Center, Dr. Aloysius Tri Joehanto, MH., stated that this activity is part of the Public Health Center's commitment to improving the quality of public health, especially within the university environment. "We hope that with this health check, the academic community can become more aware of the importance of maintaining health and receiving early treatment for various diseases," he said.

The Vise Rector II of UWP, Dr. Trisa Indrawati, SE., MM., welcomed this activity. "Health is a primary asset in supporting the teaching and learning process and work. "We are grateful to the Benowo Public Health Center for this collaboration and hope that activities like this can be carried out regularly," he said.

The entire UWP academic community enthusiastically welcomed this event, and it is hoped that it will be the first step in raising awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle within the UWP environment.
