Wijaya Putra University Closes 2025 PKKMB Activities with New Spirit and Hope
UWP officially closed its week-long Introduction to Campus Life (PKKMB) for the 2025 Academic Year, which ran from September 14th to 21st, 2025. The closing ceremony was attended by all new students, the academic community, and UWP officials.
In his remarks, UWP Rector, Dr. Budi Endarto, SH., M.Hum., expressed his appreciation to all PKKMB participants who enthusiastically participated in the series of activities. "This PKKMB is an important opportunity to introduce academic culture, ethics, and solidarity among new students. Hopefully, what has been learned will serve as a strong foundation for studying at this Sociopreneur Campus," he said.
UWP ranked 5th in East Java for its KemDiktiSainTek Research Grants, and 2nd in East Java for its KemDiktiSainTek Community Service Grants in 2025.
Next, the Head of the PKKMB Committee, Suprayoga, SE., M.Sc., expressed his gratitude to all those who supported the smooth running of this event. He also delivered a motivational message to the participants.
"Welcome to the UWP family. I hope what you have learned during this PKKMB will be valuable assets for your studies and will contribute positively to our campus," he said.
The PKKMB participants also expressed their gratitude and hopes. One participant, Budi Anggara, stated, "I feel very helped by this activity. I hope that in the future, we can all become active and high-achieving students."
The event concluded with the Deans presenting alma maters and certificates to the participants as a token of their participation in the 2025 PKKMB.
