Wijaya Putra High School Students' Skills Development through Bakery Training
In an effort to support the development of competence and entrepreneurship of the younger generation, Wijaya Putra University (UWP) held a bakery training attended by students of Wijaya Putra High School Surabaya. This activity is part of a collaborative program that aims to provide practical experience while opening up opportunities for students to become entrepreneurs in the future.
The training took place on Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at the WP Bakery Benowo Campus, the teaching practitioner at the activity was Dwi Elok Indriastuty, SH., M.Hum., as a lecturer at the UWP Faculty of Law and also an experienced instructor in the culinary and bakery fields. Participants were taught everything from dough making techniques, ingredient processing, to attractive and quality product presentations. In addition to enriching technical knowledge, this activity is also designed to foster students' innovative and creative spirit in developing their own bakery businesses.
UWP believes that developing practical skills from an early age is very important in forming an independent and entrepreneurial generation. Through this training, it is hoped that students will not only be able to create delicious and attractive bakery products, but also be able to manage their businesses professionally and sustainably. This activity received appreciation from various parties, including parents and teachers, because it was able to provide real benefits in improving the quality of young human resources who are ready to compete and contribute positively to society. UWP is committed to continuing to support the development of the potential of the younger generation through various innovative and collaborative programs. With a sociopreneurial spirit, UWP believes that education must be able to create opportunities and have a direct impact on the wider community.
