UWP Receives Funding for 46 Program Titles from DPPM Kemendikbudristek 2025, Proof of Commitment to Conducting Research

University (UWP) Surabaya has recorded proud achievements in the academic
world. In 2025, UWP successfully obtained research and community service
funding from the Directorate of Research and Community Service (DPPM) of the
Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology for 46 program titles.
This achievement
consists of: 27 research programs, 17 community service programs and 2
multi-year service programs.
UWP Chancellor,
Dr. Budi Endarto, M.Hum., expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the
lecturers in compiling quality proposals.
"This
achievement proves the quality of UWP's academic community in supporting the
development of science and community-based service that is relevant to the
needs of society," he said.
The funded
research programs cover various strategic fields such as: Law, Technology,
Creative Economy, Education and Environment
This diversity
of themes shows that UWP is increasingly in line with national research
policies and current issues faced by society.
Meanwhile,
community service programs are designed in a participatory and sustainable
manner to provide real solutions to social problems. Two of them are multi-year
programs that are expected to have a long-term impact on target partners.

In the future,
Wijaya Putra University will continue to strengthen its role as a competitive
academic institution by increasing the quantity and quality of research and
community service. Support from external and internal funding will be optimized
to provide real contributions to national development and improving community
welfare.
