UWP Receives ABP PTSI Award 2025 for Commitment to Developing Private Higher Education
Wijaya Putra University (UWP) has once again achieved a proud achievement at the national level. On Sunday, December 14, 2025, UWP officially received the ABP PTSI Award from the Association of Indonesian Private Higher Education Institutions (ABP PTSI). This prestigious award was accepted by Dr. Budi Endarto, SH., M.Hum., UWP Rector, at a culminating event held at Tarumanagara University in Jakarta.
The 2025 ABP PTSI Award was awarded to 34 selected private universities (PTS) from across Indonesia, including Wijaya Putra University, which were deemed to have demonstrated a strong commitment and tangible contributions to maintaining, empowering, and developing the private higher education ecosystem in Indonesia.
This award is not merely symbolic recognition, but concrete evidence of the dedication of the entire UWP academic community, from the Foundation and university leadership to lecturers, education staff, and students, in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education in a sustainable and high-quality manner.
"This award recognizes UWP's hard work and consistency in providing the best higher education services, innovation in learning, research, and community service. This motivates us to continue improving and play a greater role in educating the nation, in line with the ABPPTSI vision," said Budi Endarto.
The selection of award recipients is carried out through a rigorous assessment process by the ABP PTSI Central team, considering various aspects such as governance, accountability, curriculum innovation, human resource quality, and the social impact of the private university.
With this recognition, UWP further solidifies its position as a leading private university and reinforces its vision of becoming a leading university in the development of research-based sociopreneurship by 2030. This award is also expected to encourage continued quality improvement, so that more future leaders are formed within UWP.
Going forward, UWP is committed to continuing to synergize with ABP PTSI and all other private universities in Indonesia to jointly address challenges in the world of education, strengthen competitiveness, and have a direct impact on social issues.
