UWP Management Study Program Innovation Inaugurates Digital Entrepreneurship Laboratory to Improve Student Competence

Wijaya Putra University (UWP) is again innovating by inaugurating the
Digital Entrepreneurship Laboratory in the Management Study Program. The
digital entrepreneurship laboratory is a grant obtained from the 2024
Independent Campus Competition Program, a digital entrepreneurship laboratory
which includes a Banking Laboratory and a Quantitative Data Analysis Laboratory
which is expected to be able to equip students with the skills and knowledge
needed to become successful digital entrepreneurs in the VUCA Volatility era. ,
Uncertainty (uncertainty), Complexity (complexity), and Ambiguity (ambiguity)
which are capable of providing a positive impact on the difficult economic
situation currently being faced.
The inauguration of the digital entrepreneurship laboratory was attended
directly by UWP Structural Officials. The presence of these structural
officials shows UWP's commitment to supporting entrepreneurship development
among students. Dr. Sri Juni Woro, M.Com., as Deputy Chancellor I for Academic
Affairs at UWP, in his speech expressed the hope that this laboratory could
become a center for innovation and produce young entrepreneurs who are highly
competitive. "This laboratory is clear evidence of UWP's support for
developing student potential in the field of entrepreneurship. We hope that
this laboratory can become a gathering place for young innovators to develop
their creative ideas," said Sri.
Meanwhile, Dr. Woro Utari, MM., as Dean of the UWP Faculty of Economics
& Business, added that this laboratory will also be a place to collaborate
with the business world and the industrial world. “We will invite business
people to provide training and mentoring to students. "Apart from that, we
will also facilitate students to take part in national and international
business competitions," he added.
Through the inauguration of the Digital Entrepreneurship Laboratory,
students will have the opportunity to develop their business projects, learn
about digital marketing, data analysis, and various other important aspects in
the world of entrepreneurship because they now have new weapons to hone their
entrepreneurial skills. UWP targets to give birth to new, innovative startups
in the development of the Entrepreneurial University ecosystem.
