UWP Graduates of 2025 Achieve Brilliant Achievements, Demonstrating Commitment to Becoming a Research-Based Sociopreneurial Campus
An atmosphere of emotion and pride enveloped the 2025 graduation ceremony of Wijaya Putra University (UWP), held at the Dyandra Convention Center in Surabaya. On October 19, 2025, 363 undergraduate graduates were officially inaugurated at this historic event, witnessed by their families, faculty, and the university's academic community.
In his remarks, the Rector of Wijaya Putra University, Dr. Budi Endarto, SH., M.Hum., expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the university's extraordinary achievements this year. UWP successfully secured 54 grants from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) for the 2025 fiscal year. This achievement placed UWP in fifth place in research acquisition and second in community service within the East Java Region 7 LLDIKTI.
"This is proof that UWP students not only graduate with academic degrees, but also bring a spirit of innovation and real service to the community," said the Rector proudly.
This achievement is part of the university's commitment to achieving its ambitious vision of becoming a leading university in the development of research-based sociopreneurship by 2030. The Rector also emphasized that the increase in research and community service grants this year represents significant progress compared to 2024, both in terms of the number and value of funds received.
Furthermore, the graduates have demonstrated superior qualities through active participation in various national programs such as Innovillage, PPK Ormawa, P2MW, and PKM. These programs provide a platform for students to hone their creativity, leadership, and innovation skills that have a direct impact on society.
The graduation ceremony also featured awards for the best, most popular, and most outstanding graduates. The series of activities concluded with a prayer and a warm photo session, reflecting the spirit of togetherness among families, faculty, and students.
UWP hopes that all graduates will become the nation's next generation with global competitiveness and a sociopreneurial spirit, upholding the good name of their alma mater in every step of their community service.
Congratulations to the 2025 graduates of Wijaya Putra University—we wish you success and continued contributions to the advancement of the nation and state.
