UWP FEB Students Make Real Contributions to Society through Karang Taruna
Surabaya, February 2, 2025 – 5th semester students of the Management Study Program at Wijaya Putra University have once again shown their concern for the community through the final implementation program of the PPSDM course taught by Lecturer, Achmad Zakki Fadhil, SE., MM.
This time, Management students went directly to Kalijaran, Sambikerep Village, Sambikerep District, Surabaya City to foster and develop the potential of the local Karang Taruna.
With the knowledge gained during the PPSDM lectures, students provided training and mentoring to Karang Taruna members in various aspects, starting from their knowledge and skills in the fields of organizational management, leadership, and business development. The material presented was adjusted to the needs and challenges faced by Karang Taruna Sambikerep.
It is hoped that this activity can increase the capacity of Karang Taruna in making positive contributions to the community.
The RT head in the Kalijaran area welcomed this activity and hoped to establish closer cooperation with UWP in the future. "We hope that this training can provide provisions for Karang Taruna members to develop their organization to be more professional and independent," he said.
