UWP Faculty of Social and Political Sciences Students Win Third Place in the National Policy Brief Competition at Brawijaya University
Students from the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) at Wijaya Putra University (UWP) have once again achieved a proud achievement at the national level. In the Policy Brief competition held by Brawijaya University from August 4-9, 2025, FISIP students won third place in Cluster 1, "Social Transformation in Realizing Sustainable Human Resources," with the title "Inclusive Education Transformation: The Gembira 0.1 Application for Effective Monitoring of Children with Special Needs."
The competition was attended by 119 students from 33 state and private universities across Indonesia. With the theme "Realizing Indonesia's Transformation Through Inclusive and Sustainable Development," the UWP FISIP delegation, consisting of four students: Bayu Tri, Aisyah Salsabila, Chintya Anggun, and Regita Cahyani, successfully developed a comprehensive and innovative policy brief, demonstrating analytical skills and a deep understanding of the issues raised.
The Dean of FISIP UWP, Dr. Supriyanto, M.Sc., expressed his pride in the students' achievements. "This is clear evidence that our students are capable of competing at the national level and making real contributions to public policy development. Hopefully, this achievement will motivate other students to continue working and innovating," he said.
Team leader Aisyah Salsabila, explained that this success was due to the guidance of the lecturers and the thorough preparation undertaken. "We hope this result can inspire and motivate us to continue working and contributing to the nation," he said.
This achievement adds to the list of achievements by UWP FISIP students in academics and national competitions. It is hoped that this achievement will enhance the university's image and encourage other students to continue achieving in various fields.
