UWP Faculty of Engineering Enlivens Engineering Gathering & Exhibition 2025 in Surabaya
The Faculty of Engineering at Wijaya Putra University (FT UWP) participated in the 2025 Engineering Gathering & Exhibition, organized by the Indonesian Engineers Association (Ikatan Engineers Indonesia) and the East Java Regional Development Bank (BPD), at the Double Tree by Hilton Surabaya on September 20, 2025. The event, themed "Green Building & Clean Energy," attracted students, professionals, and the general public concerned with sustainable development and clean energy.
UWP took this opportunity to introduce various flagship study programs and offer attractive promotions for prospective new students. Specifically, for the Prior Learning Recognition (RPL) program, UWP's Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Engineering programs are offering a free matriculation fee of Rp1,500,000. Meanwhile, for the RPL program in Public Administration, English Literature, Law, Management, Accounting, and Agribusiness, UWP is offering a free registration fee and a recognition fee of Rp1,000,000.
The RPL program recognizes an individual's learning outcomes from formal, non-formal, informal education, and/or work experience as a basis for continuing formal education and for achieving equivalency with certain qualifications.
This event serves as a strategic platform for UWP to introduce educational innovations and support the spirit of clean and environmentally friendly energy development, which is increasingly relevant in this modern era. Furthermore, this event reinforces the UWP Faculty of Engineering's commitment to supporting its partners, the Indonesian Engineers Association and the East Java Regional Development Bank (BPD), in developing competent and sustainable human resources.
It is hoped that through active participation in this event, UWP Faculty of Engineering can further expand its reach and improve the quality of its education, as well as its contribution to sustainable national development.
