UWP and SWP Awarded International and National Achievements to Students

Hundreds of students from Wijaya Putra University (UWP) and Wijaya Putra School (SWP) experienced a joyful moment during the commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia.

They received awards in the form of appreciation funds and motivation for their achievements at the international, national, and regional levels, both in academic and non-academic fields.

The awards were presented at the conclusion of the 80th Anniversary ceremony on August 17, 2025, at the Wijaya Putra University field, Benowo Campus. The awards were presented directly by the UWP leadership and SWP leadership.

At the international level, Sahalasa Rafika Putri, Nadya Novita Sari, and Cadaka Fauriz Nuryanto, UWP students, won international championships at the Southeast Asia Championship KJUO XVIII 2024 Unesa Open Ju-Jitsu Championship 2024.

National achievements were achieved by M. Dafauddin, Eka Ervina Ari Ardana, and Bintang Putra Arjuna in the 2024-2025 silat championship.

Furthermore, academic achievements were also achieved, with five teams qualifying for the national Innovillage competition, receiving tens of millions of rupiah in grants from Telkom Indonesia.

Not to be outdone by UWP students, junior high, senior high, and vocational high school students from Wijaya Putra also achieved impressive achievements at the regional, national, and even international levels.

At the international level, Rakha' Athaya Naswazaputra from Wijaya Putra Junior High School won second place in the International Ju-Jitsu Championship "Bali - Asian Championship."

At the national level, Muhammad Yusuf Abdheansyah from Wijaya Putra Junior High School won first place in the National Pencak Silat Championship "Jakarta National Championship."

Furthermore, Imam Arrahman Soleh and Marvin Putra Sanjaya from Wijaya Putra Senior High School won first place in the gymnastics and pencak silat competitions.

At the regional level, Arina Christia Wardhani from Wijaya Putra Junior High School won first place in the Surabaya City-Level Archery Championship "Indoor Archery Competition."

Furthermore, Achmad Fachri Ramadhan and Symfoni Aqila Putri from Wijaya Putra Senior High School won first place in the women's karate and futsal competitions at the East Java level.

Finally, the Wijaya Putra Senior High School cheerleading team, CIPA WARRIOR, won first place at the East Java provincial level. The award was presented to CIPA WARRIOR representative Safira Az Zahra Alifah.

UWP Rector, Dr. Budi Endarto, S.H., M.Hum., expressed his pride and deepest appreciation to the UWP students and the Wijaya Putra School students who achieved this impressive achievement.

"This shows that UWP and SWP students are capable of competing at the national and international levels," he emphasized.

He hopes the awarding of the appreciation and motivation funds will encourage other students to achieve success in both academic and non-academic fields. He hopes that UWP and SWP students will achieve even more in the future.
