UWP Agrees to Sign MoU with KBU Thailand, Strengthening Academic and Research Exchanges
Wijaya Putra University (UWP) reaffirmed its commitment to developing international-standard education by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kasem Bundit University (KBU) from Thailand. This strategic partnership aims to enhance the quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education through various mutually beneficial collaborative programs.
The MoU signing took place in Bangkok, Thailand on December 18, 2025. The Dean of the Faculty of Economics & Business (FEB) at UWP, Dr. Woro Utari, SE., MM., representing UWP, met with the Vice President of Kasem Bundit University, Suwat Suwandee, Ph.D., to officially cement the partnership, which is designed to open broader access and opportunities for students, lecturers, and educational staff from both parties.
In his remarks, the Dean of FEB UWP stated, "This collaboration with KBU is a concrete step for UWP in strengthening its international network and improving the quality of higher education. We are confident that this synergy will enrich the academic experience and broaden the global perspectives of the entire academic community."
Meanwhile, a representative from KBU expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "KBU is very excited to collaborate with UWP. We see much potential and areas of mutual interest that can be explored for the advancement of science and the development of superior human resources."
This MoU covers various forms of comprehensive collaboration, including: Academic Exchange, Curriculum Development, Internships and Training, Research and Publication Collaboration, Conferences, and Seminars. Both parties agreed to continue developing other forms of collaboration in the future based on mutual agreement.
With this collaboration, UWP further strengthens its position as a globally active higher education institution, ready to prepare graduates who are not only competent at the national level but also competitive internationally.
