In order to strengthen cooperation and broaden academic horizons, Universitas Wijaya Putra (UWP) collaborated with Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin Malaysia (UNISZA) to organize a guest lecture event themed "Globalization and Non-Traditional Security in the Artificial Intelligence Age". This activity was attended by students and the academic community via the YouTube live streaming platform, which was held at the FEB UWP Dome Benowo Campus.

The event, which will take place on October 31, 2025, will feature speakers from UNISZA who are competent in the fields of global security and artificial intelligence. Participants gained insights into the challenges and opportunities presented by the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the context of non-traditional security, which is increasingly relevant in this era of globalization.

In her remarks, the Vise Rector I of UWP, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sri Juni Woro, expressed her hope that this collaboration could strengthen academic relations and enhance students' competence in understanding complex global issues. "This cooperation is expected to enrich the insights of our students and academic community regarding security dynamics in the digital age," she stated.

Meanwhile, the speaker from UNISZA, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suyatno Ladiqi, expressed appreciation for this collaboration and hoped that similar activities could continue in the future, strengthening international academic networks.

This activity is part of both campuses' efforts to bridge cross-cultural and interdisciplinary understanding thru constructive academic dialog, and to prepare young generations capable of facing global challenges in the era of artificial intelligence.
