Three Surabaya Universities Join, Collaborate to Advance Education
Trawas, September 8, 2024 – In an effort to improve the quality of higher education in Surabaya, three leading universities, namely the University of Surabaya, Wijaya Putra University, and Wijaya Kusuma University Surabaya, discussed collaboration. This collaboration was announced in a discussion attended by academics, students, and related stakeholders. This collaboration is an important step to strengthen the education ecosystem in Surabaya. By combining each other's strengths, we can create more qualified human resources who are able to compete at the global level. In the discussion, representatives from the three universities discussed various potential collaborations that could be carried out, including: Student exchanges by providing opportunities for students to learn in different environments and broaden their horizons; Joint research by combining the expertise of researchers to produce new innovations that are beneficial to society; Curriculum development by compiling a curriculum that is relevant to the needs of industry and the development of the times; and Community service by implementing community service programs together. This collaboration is not just a collaboration between universities, but also a shared commitment to building a better future for education.
