THE INDONESIAN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION PROFESSION CERTIFICATION INSTITUTE (LSP API) COLLECTS WITH THE FISIP OF WIJAYA PUTRA UNIVERSITY IN IMPLEMENTING THE COMPETENCY TEST IN THE FIELD OF PUBLIC POLICY ANALYSIS

October 2024 – The Indonesian Public Administration Professional Certification
Institute (LSP API) under the auspices of the Indonesian Association for Public
Administration (IAPA) collaborates with the Faculty of Social and Political
Sciences (FISIP) Wijaya Putra University (UWP) to open a Competency Test Site
(TUK) Public Policy Analysis. This collaboration aims to increase
professionalism in the field of public policy through competency tests licensed
by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). This activity is a
form of implementation of the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the Dean of
FISIP UWP (Dr. Supriyanto, S.Sos., M.Sc.) and the Director of LSP API (Dr. Sri
Juni Woro Astuti, M.Com) which was agreed on in previous activities. As TUK,
FISIP UWP will provide complete supporting facilities and infrastructure
according to established standards.
The need for
competent personnel in the field of public policy analysis is increasing along
with the need for professional human resources who are competent and have
integrity in formulating, implementing and evaluating policies. This competency
certification will help ensure that professionals have skills that are
appropriate to the needs and challenges in public policy development, both at
the local and national levels.
The Dean of
FISIP UWP stated, "This collaboration is a real step to support increasing
the quality of professionalism in the field of Public Administration,
especially as a practicing public policy analyst. By becoming an official TUK,
we hope to be able to make a real contribution in preparing superior human
resources who are competent and ready to face challenges future policy
development while encouraging the achievement of our mission in producing
professional and competitive human resources in the field of public
policy."
The Director
of LSP API added that collaboration with FISIP UWP as one of the private
universities in East Java is a strategic step to ensure quality and accuracy in
the certification process. "We believe that this collaboration will
further expand access for prospective policy analysts to obtain national
standard competency certification and facilitate meeting the need for experts
in this field," he said.
The competency
test held on Saturday, 26 October 2024 was attended by 16 (sixteen) assessees
from academics and practitioners from Tengku Umar Nanggroe University Aceh
Darussalam, Hang Tuah University (UHT) Surabaya, Yudarta University Pasuruan,
Kutai Kartanegara University (Kalimatan East) and PT Practitioners. Daksa Utama
Nusantara (Kaltim).
LSP API is a
professional certification body founded by the Indonesian Association for
Public Administration (IAPA) and officially obtained a license from the
National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP) in the field of public policy
analysis for schemes 5, 6 and 7 which play a role in ensuring the competence of
professionals in field of public policy analysis. By collaborating with various
parties, LSP API continues to strive to present an adaptive and high-quality
certification scheme to meet the need for competent human resources in the
field of Public Administration.
