This annual
event has stopped for several years due to the Covid pandemic, this year the
UWP Volleyball Cup is being held again, with 9 cities/regencies in East Java
participating, Surabaya, Gresik, Sidoarjo, Mojokerto, Lamongan, Probolinggo,
Pamekasan, Tulungagung and Trenggalek.
According to
Randitya Galih Permana as the chairman of the committee, the 2025 UWP
Volleyball Cup aims to develop and channel students' hobbies in playing
volleyball in prestigious events at the East Java level, so that the experience
and dreams of students who want to become national athletes can develop again
with more prestigious competitions.
Meanwhile, in
the UWP Cup Volleyball Tournament, the women's team was won by SMA Negeri 1
Kedungwaru Tulungagung who managed to defeat the team from SMA Negeri 3
Pamekasan Madura, for the men's category, the winner was SMK Krian 1 Sidoarjo
who also managed to defeat the team from SMK Negeri 1 Dawarblandong Mojokerto.
