Surabaya, September 8, 2024 – Located at the Doom of Wijaya Putra University (UWP) Benowo Campus, the 2024 Pre-Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (Pra PKKMB) was successfully held. The activity, which was attended by hundreds of new students, aims to introduce campus life, provide knowledge, and build a spirit of togetherness.

During the Pre-PKKMB activity, new students participated in a series of interesting events, such as explanatory material on the Academic SIM service from BAA, ICT services from the ICT Bureau, anti-bullying & anti-sexual violence from the PPKS Task Force, ethics in using IT & skilled communication through social media from the HKS Bureau, and library services from the UPT Library. In addition, students were also given the opportunity to interact with seniors, lecturers, and university staff.

This activity is a good start for new students in living academic life at UWP. New students can make the most of this opportunity to develop their potential and become quality graduates.

One of the Pre-PKKMB participants admitted that he was very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. "I feel very proud to be part of the UWP family. This Pre-PKKMB activity is very useful for me, especially in getting to know new friends and learning more about campus," he said.

Furthermore, the PKKMB activity with the theme "Optimizing Gen-Z with GOLD Character (Empathy, Independence, Adaptive, Solution-oriented)" will be held from September 11 to 15, 2024 at UWP Benowo Campus. Later, the 2024 UWP PKKMB activity will not only be an orientation, but will also be filled with various interesting events such as games, workshops, and discussions. This aims to help new students adapt more quickly to the campus environment and build relationships with fellow students.
