Inauguration of DPM, BEM University & Faculty, and UKM Wijaya Putra University Service Period 2024-2025

October 2024 at Wijaya Putra University, Benowo Campus, the handover of
positions and inauguration of the Student Representative Council, Student
Executive Body for both University & Faculty as well as the Student
Activity Unit of Wijaya Putra University for the 2024-2025 term. This
inauguration marks a new milestone in student organization leadership at UWP.
In his speech,
the 2023 Student President, Shiva Khoirunnisa Bil Adzani congratulated the new
administrators and hoped that they could carry out their mandate well. "I
am sure that with their enthusiasm and creativity, the new management can bring
positive changes to the campus," he said.
In remarks by
the 2024 Student President, Galuh Permana explained a number of work programs
that would be implemented during his term of office. "We will focus on
continuing management with better performance by improving the quality of
student activities, developing student interests and talents, as well as
community service," he said.
In remarks
delivered by the Chancellor of UWP, Dr. Budi Endarto, M. Hum. gave a message to
the new administrators to always prioritize student interests, maintain
integrity, and establish good cooperation with the entire academic community.
"I advise that the new administrators can become role models for the UWP
Value, namely EMAS (Empathy, Independence, Adaptive and Solutive) for other
students," he added.
UWP has again
demonstrated its commitment to supporting the development of student potential.
In the event that took place
today, UWP also provided appreciation funds for a number of outstanding
students, both academic and non-academic. These lucky students have succeeded
in making UWP proud in various competitions, both at national and international
levels.
"I really
appreciate the achievements achieved by the students. I hope this appreciation
fund will be an incentive for all UWP students so that in the future they will
be even more enthusiastic about achieving achievements at regional and national
levels," said Budi.
The achievements
they achieved cannot be separated from the guidance of competent lecturers.
Apart from giving appreciation to students, UWP also gives awards to
supervisors who have played a big role in guiding students to achieve
achievements.
It is hoped that the value of UWP
EMAS can make a real contribution to the progress of campus and society in line
with UWP's vision as a Sociopreneur University with the tagline Growth with
Society.
