FGD on Preparation of Technical Guidelines for Cooperation in Implementing UWP Independent Agribusiness MBKM with DUDI and Educational Institutions

Held at the Wijaya Putra University Hall, Benowo Campus. In an effort to improve the quality of education and the relevance of the Study Program to the needs of the industrial business world and educational institutions, the Agribusiness Study Program of Wijaya Putra University held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to prepare technical guidelines for cooperation in implementing the Independent Independent Learning Campus (MBKM) program. The FGS was attended by various related parties from the Business World and Industry World (DU/DI) who have become partners with the Agribusiness Study Program, namely Fresh Hydroponics and the Sonokwijenan Observation Park and Educational Institutions including SMA Wijaya Putra Surabaya and MA As-Sa`adah. This FGD aims to formulate technical guidelines that can facilitate collaboration between the UWP Agribusiness Study Program and DU/DI and related Educational Institutions. These guidelines are expected to strengthen the synergy between academics and practitioners, and support the implementation of MBKM effectively and sustainably.

This FGD activity involved the Head of the UWP Public Relations & Cooperation Bureau, Surya Priyambudi, S.Pd., M.Pd. , and involved a panel discussion that highlighted perspectives from various sectors. The FGD participants had the opportunity to share experiences, challenges, and best practices in implementing the MBKM Mandiri program. Interactive discussions on technical guidelines for cooperation, challenges and solutions in cooperation between academics and industry and discussing effective mechanisms to ensure harmonious collaboration.

Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture UWP, Ir. Faisol Humaidi,.MP, stated, "We believe that strong cooperation between the academic world and industry is the key to preparing graduates who are ready to use. Through this FGD, we hope to produce clear and practical technical guidelines to support the implementation of effective MBKM Mandiri."

Head of the UWP Agribusiness Study Program, Heri Susanto.SP,.MM, also responded, "This FGD is part of the Agribusiness Study Program's commitment to continue to adapt to developments in market needs and improve the quality of graduates in accordance with industry demands. In the future, the Agribusiness Study Program will continue to collaborate with various parties to ensure that the education provided is always relevant and of high quality."
