Establish Collaboration between the UWP Library and the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia

    Located at the Vanda Gardenia Hotel Mojokerto, the Wijaya Putra University Library (UWP) officially collaborates with the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia (Perpusnas RI). This collaboration aims to increase public access to information, enrich library collections, and increase literacy in the campus environment. This collaboration covers various fields, including: The UWP Library will get access to the digital collections of the National Library of Indonesia, so that students and lecturers can access a wider variety of information sources; Higher education institutions will work together to organize various literacy programs, such as digital literacy training, writing competitions and joint reading activities; and the UWP Library will receive support from the National Library of Indonesia in improving the quality of services, both in terms of human resources and infrastructure.

    This collaborative activity is a follow-up to the East Java Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum (FPPTI) work program, which includes facilitating an MoU on Cooperation between the Indonesian National Library (PERPUSNAS) and East Java FPPTI Member Universities as well as Library Camp, East Java FPPTI will hold a National Seminar and Library Camp 4.0 with the theme "Strengthening Librarian Competencies through Collaboration and Innovation in the VUCA Era". The UWP Library is an active member of FPPTI so it has the opportunity to collaborate with PERPUSNAS RI.

    This collaboration is a strategic step to realize the development of learning at UWP as a superior learning center so that with the support of the National Library of Indonesia, UWP is optimistic that it can increase interest in reading and literacy among the academic community.
