75 UWP Students Attend Industrial Festival 2024 at Dyandra Convention Center Surabaya
A total of 75 students from Universitas Wijaya Putra (UWP) attended the Industrial Festival 2024 held at the Dyandra Convention Center Surabaya, December 4-5, 2024 by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. This event is a strategic event to broaden the horizons of the younger generation towards the world of industry, technology, and the latest innovations.
With the theme "Are You Fit For The Future?," this festival presents an exhibition of advanced technology, seminars, and workshops filled by renowned speakers from various sectors. UWP students looked enthusiastic in participating in various sessions, ranging from discussions about career opportunities in the digital era to simulations of manufacturing processes based on industrial technology 4.0.
Rafli Sandiar, one of the UWP students majoring in Informatics Engineering, said that this event was very useful for increasing insight as well as professional networks. "I learned a lot of lessons, especially about the importance of adapting technology in facing global challenges. This is very relevant to my major," he said.
In addition, students also get the opportunity to interact directly with industry players through Workshop and Talkshow sessions. This activity is expected to inspire participants to be better prepared to face the world of work.
The event, which will run until December 5, 2024, will be attended by thousands of visitors from students, university students, to professionals. The 2024 Industrial Festival is expected to be a catalyst for collaboration between academics and the industrial world in creating a sustainable work ecosystem.
